I'm Óscar, Madrid wedding photographer.
Hi!
I believe a wonderful wedding and incredible photographs aren't mutually exclusive.
I'll only step in when it's really worth it. The rest of the time, I want you with your family, your friends, enjoying the day.
My job is to accompany you with calm, anticipate the important moments, and create a wedding story that, years from now, brings you right back to that exact day.
Because the best photographs aren't the ones that interrupt your wedding. They're the ones that let you relive it, again and again.

But I've never believed a location makes a great wedding.

¿Nos vas a hacer posar?
Sí, un poquito.
No creo que una boda tenga que convertirse en una sesión de fotos, pero tampoco creo que haya que dejarlo todo al azar.
Os ayudaré cuando merezca la pena y os dejaré disfrutar en todo momento. Tendréis fotos naturales y también esas fotografías que acabarán enmarcadas en vuestra casa el resto de vuestros días.
No somos muy fotogénicos, ¿es un problema?
Al contrario.
La mayoría de las parejas que fotografío me dicen exactamente lo mismo.
Mi trabajo no es convertiros en modelos. Es crear un ambiente en el que os olvidéis de la cámara y, cuando haga falta, daros las indicaciones justas para que todo resulte natural.
¿Cuánto tiempo dedicaremos a las fotos?
Muy poco.
Prefiero que estéis con vuestra gente.
La sesión de pareja suele durar entre quince y veinte minutos y el resto del día sucede prácticamente sin interrupciones.
¿Y si nuestra boda no sigue las tradiciones?
Perfecto.
Las mejores bodas que he fotografiado tienen algo en común.
Nunca intentaron parecerse a las demás.
¿Viajas?
Sí.
Fotografío bodas por toda España y me encanta trabajar fuera de casa.
Lo importante nunca es el lugar.
Es la historia que ocurre allí.
También he tenido la suerte de fotografiar bodas en sitios como Burdeos, Marrakech, Toscana, Lisboa, Ibiza y toda la Península.
¿Qué buscas en una boda?
No busco bodas perfectas.
Busco parejas que quieran disfrutar de su día y estén dispuestas a hacerlo a su manera.
¿Y el video?
Sí, muchas parejas me lo preguntan.
Con el tiempo he decidido centrarme exclusivamente en la fotografía. Creo que para hacer algo realmente bien hay que dedicarle toda la atención y energía posibles.
